Internet Marketing :: Terra Footwear Takes it Online

Terra Footwear, a Canadian based men's company, has recently launched a new marketing campaign aimed at men, 18-35.  Peace Point Entertainment Group has been commissioned to spear-head this campaign, and it's the first of its kind for their office.  To look at it though, you'd never know it.  They've done a great job of pulling it all together.

The campaign will be a multi-platform, national, and bilingual. It will involve six 15-second television spots, a website and an online contest that will have an awesome grand prize - the opportunity to "Live Like a Rockstar."

While we've all seen TV commercials, and we're used to YouTube by now, this website will be formatted a little bit differently.  Customers can go to the website to watch the commercials, but when they roll their mouse over the footwear, they'll get additional product information for Terra products.  Then between commercials, viewers have the opportunity to enter the "Live Like a Rockstar" contest.

So how do you enter?  You create your own 15-second spot showing how you, or someone else, uses Terra "on the job."  Entries must be received by May 30th, and the first 300 entrants automatically get a free pair of men's Terra Pulse shoes.

As with a few other online contests we've seen, like the Doc Marten design contest and the Levi's contest, Terra is asking everyone around to log on to rate and comment on the submissions.  If you're interested, you can do so until August 31st.

With the chance to win a weekend stay in a top Toronto hotel, have the use of a luxury car, dinner in a trendy restaurant, and swag bag, you'd better get yourself in gear and create that clip, now!
