Internet Marketing :: Survey Says Sponsored Links Sway Shoppers

A recent survey sponsored by BIGresearch's Simultaneous Media Survey found that nine out of ten shoppers are influenced by sponsored links - also known as AdWords - that show up when they're searching for certain products.

This is very good news for those etailers out there that are using sponsored links.

In addition, it seems that the clothing and apparel lines are the most easily influenced by these sponsored links because they typically draw a younger age bracket of consumers; those that are 18-34 years of age.

The survey demonstrates that nearly 50% of of the consumers utilitzing the Internet in their shopping adventures were sent there due to magazine ads or coupons, while the other half were driven there by television ads. This means that you should be studying the advertising in print and media that is related to your lines, and get your AdWords out there right away!
