Fashion 2.0 news: MySpace has just launched a slick community called myspace.com/fashion, targeting fashionistas and fashion advertisers.
Here is a short video review, followed by written comments based on a must-read Business Week article.

Please, take the time to read the full Business Week article where you will get way more details.
But nonetheless, here is my cheat sheet:

- Myspace.com/fashion launched on August 28, in time for the NY Fashion Week

- It is a new version of a pre-existing community created 1 year ago

- MySpace is already attracting a lot of fashion followers. For instance, the Abercrombie & Fitch MySpace page has 165,000 friends, while a total of 74,000 fashion-related groups already exist on the site.

- InStyle and Condé Nast are interested in partnering with myspace.com/fashion

- Alexander McQueen, Donna Karan, and Isaac Mizrahi have active pages and/or marketing campaigns on MySpace

-  Young designers use the site to promote their  creations

- There is a dispute among marketers whether MySpac is upscale enough for high end brands to be actively advertise on the site. Yet, the article shares interesting MySpace demographic data. For instance, the number of of MySpace users whose household incomes of $100,000 or more number 15,641,000.

Do you think that Myspace will be successful in the Fashion 2.0 world?
