According to a new study by Piper Jaffray, it seems that teen spending is on the decline, and they’ve said that it points to a “discretionary recession,” meaning teens are being more selective about what to use their play money on, largely due to the economy. Over the course of the last year or so, I’ve noticed an increasing amount of advertising that touts fashion apparel as organic; moving forward, it will also be "ethical." A recent study done by the Benchmark Group shows that a large number of French consumers shopping for luxury goods turn to the Internet for information, long before they make their purchase.
