According to a new study by Piper Jaffray, it seems that teen spending is on the decline, and they’ve said that it points to a “discretionary recession,” meaning teens are being more selective about what to use their play money on, largely due to the economy. According to the January 2008 QSearch click paid report, ComScore reported flat annual growth in paid clicks for Google in 2007 and an 8 percent decrease from December to January.
