Armani Falls Flat in "Second Life"

For many fashionistas that like a little virtual game playing, Second Life is probably familiar to you; a 3-D virtual world where you can create your own avatar and have them live a pretty fab life.  If you decide to buy land, you can build your own home or business.  For true fashionistas, what's truly important here is that you have virtually unlimited access to some of the most high-end fashions from around the globe; what was shocking for true fashionistas was the unveiling of the Armani line within Second Life.  To put it mildly, Armani fell short.

When it was announced that Armani would be making their line available to the avatars, those that love fashion and Second Life, were psyched.  Although the Armani store is huge, it doesn't work well.  Not only that, the clothing falls flat as 2-D images and no interactivity.

As soon as Armani heard the negative feedback from Second Life users, Armani's PR hounds immediately shot back, blaming technical limitaions.  Although Armani in real life is fantastic, their Second Life presense is not; maybe it's time to hire the services of an experienced SIM creation company.
