Apparel Sale :: Buzzillions.com Gives Shoppers a New Point of View

There’s a lot of buzz surrounding the relationships between apparel sales and fashion 2.0. Part of what stems many of these is the new social shopping sites that have popped up all over the Internet.
Here at Fashion-Fox, we’ve talked about the power of sites like StumbleUpon that allows users to network their way to fabulous new fashion sites, and ThisNext where shoppers get to point out their favorite things. But recently, I found Buzzillions.
So, what exactly is Buzzillions? Well, it’s yet another social shopping site if you want to give it a generalized title. But more specifically, it lets "verified shoppers" rate items that they’ve purchased.
And how does one become a "verified shopper?" By buying things of course!
What I really like about Buzzillions is its ease of use. At the time of this writing, there are nearly 1.8 million customer reviews already on the site. You can find out what "high-end shoppers" or "trendy users" think of the latest Prada bag they purchased, or you can check out how they feel about their most recent wedge sandals; the choice is yours.
And they layout is great. Buzzillions has made it easy to narrow your search down based on what type of event you’ll be wearing an item to, whether it’s comfortable or dry-clean only, and they cover all categories of clothing, shoes, and accessories.
Once you make your picks, you’ll get a listing that gives you product choices, snapshots of each, and their "star rating" based on what other buyers had to say about it. You’ll even get the price! Everything you need to know, all in one little box.
A new spin on a social shopping site indeed, but a good spin. Not only can I narrow my choices and find almost exactly what I’m looking for, I don’t even have to click-thru to the retail website to see the price, it’s already available for me.
Not as cold and unfriendly as PriceGrabber or NexTag, Buzzillions gives you a community feel plus a whole lot of shopping convenience.

I do not connect to online shopping, and can’t for the life of me figure out how you purchase a shirt, skirt or pair of trousers that will look and feel as good as they would have in a retail store.
The cut can be similar to what you like but just a slightly different cut can look completely different on your body type - I just don’t get the mechanics of this….
Buzzillions is great, but I actually like http://www.viewpoints.com better. They both are consumer reviews websites, but Viewpoints also has this great community atmosphere that really let’s you get to know the people whose reviews you are reading.
